Our primary objectives in NISOC are to ensure the safety of our people in occupational and research environments. Our major areas of activities include:
- Consulting with managers, supervisors and staff about offering reformatory viewpoints in line with safely accomplishing the missions
- Studying underway plans and projects to make sure they meet current safety regulations within the occupational environments.
- Evaluating safety measures through auditing and inspecting occupational environments and offering reformatory suggestions.
- Controlling the qualities of equipments and personal protection instruments.
- Training staff in line with making them acquainted with various safety regulations and systems.
- Organizing investigation committees to finding the roots of the incidents and preventing re-occurrence of them
- Compiling safety regulations &instructions about implementing dangerous works as well as sending notices to the relevant administrations.
- Suggesting specialized safety comments on determining the drilling location by carefully studding the location.
- Designing safety systems and supervising the underway plans in line with standards of oil ministry.
- Collecting safety information from miscellaneous references and applying state – of - the – art precautious measures to protecting the work power.
- Taking preventive measures in time of occurring unexpected fires
- Procuring machineries, equipment’s and other required fire- extinguishing materials.
- Ordering, selecting and purchasing safety clothes according to the standards of oil ministry.
